YOUR MISSIONS AND CHALLENGES AT VINCI CONSTRUCTION SI
As part of the IT Department in Germany, reporting to Andrea Wienand from the Transformation & Applications team, you will join a dynamic team of 13 people for a 24-month V.I.E. assignment.
You will be based at our Bauknechtquartier site on the VINCI Construction campus in Bottrop, Germany, near Düsseldorf, following a 6-month training period at VINCI Construction SI in Nanterre-Préfecture (France).
You will contribute to a key challenge for the Group: ensuring efficient management of construction projects by providing IT solutions related to the Finance & Controlling domain, including:
General Ledger Accounting (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Treasury Management
Asset Accounting
Construction project controlling and corporate controlling
Budgeting processes
Revenue and cost integration and monitoring
Profitability analysis
Monthly closing activities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in the analysis of business requirements and implementing appropriate technical solutions to enhance our processes
- Managing interactions with other business domains, including Logistics, Finance, Human Resources and operational applications
- Providing support, maintenance and training activities related to our solutions for users in Germany, as well as internationally, on cross-functional topics to facilitate adoption
- Developing expertise on SAP environment, learning project management best practices and facilitating workshops with internal clients

COULD IT BE YOU?
In your final year of a Master's degree or Bac+5 (engineering school, business school, university, or IT-related studies), or already graduated with one or more years of professional experience, you have:
- The ability to understand, analyze and summarize business challenges, adapt your communication style to different audiences and interact effectively with internal clients
- Experience gained through an internship, personal project or academic project in an IT/Digital environment on SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) as a Functional Analysist would be an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, enabling effective collaboration with end users, VINCI Construction management and other IT teams (Infrastructure, Networks, Support, etc.)
- Professional fluency in English
- Basic knowledge of German
SOFT SKILLS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
Strong team spirit, customer-oriented mindset, curiosity, attention to detail, analytical and synthesis skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, organizational skills and a results-driven approach
An educational background in Controlling, Construction Engineering or Information Systems would be appreciated
A first experience as a SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) Functional Analyst would be a plus
Willingness to undertake occasional business travel as part of the role
