We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient movement of coffee beans from origin to destination.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Country Manager and in close collaboration with both the operations team based in Bordeaux (France) and the traders.
Key responsibilities:
1. Inbounds (U.S.A & Canada imports)
Following-up on pre-shipment samples status if applicable.
Reviewing import documents
Sending paperwork (ISF + applicable docs) to customs broker
Tracking containers arrival
Coordinating with freight department in case of any S/L holds upon vessel arrival
Preparing trucking instructions from port to warehouse & follow-up
Preparing inbounds instructions for warehouse keepers
Updating system with inbounds information
Following holding certificate receipt for financing purposes
In case of coffee bought on stock - proceeding with supplier’s payment
2. Outbounds (U.S.A & Canada clients)
Following-up on arrival samples status if applicable.
Updating client’s system (SAP) if applicable
Coordinating trucking activities
Preparing delivery order for client & warehouse keepers
Preparing release request in case of bank pledge on stocks.
Issuing invoice & submission on client’s portal in case needed.
Issuing transactions on portals in case of certified coffee
Sending collaterals to financing banks
Following-up on overdue invoices & sending reminders to clients with trade support.
Sending weekly updates to clients with coffee status.
3. Admin
Opening insurance claims in case of damaged bags at arrival
Updating on daily basis shipments & stocks positions
Checking service providers invoices
Requesting DN/CN in case of weight-differences
Monthly stock reconciliation
Keeping updated warehouse pricelists in our internal folders

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Previous experience (4 years) in logistics, preferably in the coffee industry or agri-food products.
Knowledge of customs and logistic procedures and regulations.
Organizational and time management skills are essential.
Communication and coordination skills: able to work with different departments and external suppliers.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexible and able to adapt to unforeseen situations while maintaining a proactive and problem-solving approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
