Specifically, you will be required to :  

Working in the Tax Department, under the supervision of the Head of Tax, the apprentice/work-study student will be required to :

• Research and write memos (mainly in English) on various international tax, corporate tax and transfer pricing topics.

• Assist the tax team in planning taxable income and monitoring the tax obligations of French and international entities.

• Assist the tax team with transfer pricing issues.

• Assist the tax team at the tender stage (setting up contractual schemes and drafting tax clauses) and during the implementation of international projects.

• Assist the tax team with various tax issues arising from other departments, Business Units and also our subsidiaries and branches located both in France and abroad.

During your apprenticeship, you will be accompanied by a tutor to answer any questions you may have.  

Your Profile:

We would be delighted to meet you if your profile combines the following fundamentals:

• Your level of education is at Bac +4/5 and you have ideally developed your curriculum within a business school or university with a major in tax or business law.

• If possible, you have already gained initial experience in a tax department in a company or law firm as part of a first internship.

• Rigorous and organized, you particularly enjoy taking part in activities involving data analysis, and are comfortable initiating the appropriate methodology for summarizing financial information.

• You have good interpersonal skills and are a good listener to the work team, enabling you to offer your support in drafting financial documents/reports and creating presentations.

• You want to put your knowledge into practice and reinforce your graduate program within a large organization, and take part in assignments allowing interaction on an international scope

• You are fluent in English.

You have already shown a keen interest in the energy industry during your university studies, and would now like to learn more about the management of major projects in our business sector.

Desired duration: 12 or 24 months
