SUEZ is seeking a Software Systems & Operations Analyst (SAP) to support the stability, performance and continuous improvement of our enterprise systems. Based at our Rhodes Head Office in a hybrid arrangement, this maternity‑leave cover role focuses on maintaining and enhancing SAP and other key operational applications.\

Working closely with local and global IT teams, operational stakeholders and external partners, you’ll act as a trusted technical advisor—troubleshooting issues, managing incidents, implementing system changes and identifying opportunities to improve how technology supports the business. You’ll take ownership of system performance, investigate faults methodically and provide high‑quality support, while communicating effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.

The ideal candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or possess equivalent experience. They will bring more than five years of experience supporting enterprise IT environments within medium to large organisations, along with strong hands‑on experience working with SAP applications. They will have a solid background in managing and supporting SaaS platforms such as Microsoft O365, and a working knowledge of ITIL‑based service management, with ITIL certification considered highly advantageous. A good understanding of IT security standards and relevant government regulations is essential, as are strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities paired with a proactive mindset.
