We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with solid technical knowledge, autonomy, team spirit and passion, a strong appetite for IT security, a sense of responsibility and several years of experience in object‑oriented Python development, as well as mastery of databases and CI/CD tools in Kubernetes environments.

The candidate also possesses appreciated skills in Linux, Docker, Git, GitLab, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Ansible, along with deep knowledge of automated Python code testing, monitoring with Grafana, virtualization (KVM, QEmu) and shows a genuine interest in cybersecurity topics. Among the sought soft‑skills, we expect a desire to learn new technologies, strong writing abilities to document team knowledge, and a high propensity for collaborative work.

What is the job description for Senior Python Developer?

• Maintain and evolve the Breach Fighter service according to the developments defined by the Threat Intelligence team;

• Work on the scalability of the service, its operational maintenance, and ensure strong security conditions;

• Assist in migrating the service to a Kubernetes environment;

• Participate in the automated feeding of IOCs into our MISP database.

What is the technical environment?

• Python Development: evolution of the malicious file detonation sandbox.

• Threat Intelligence: threat analysis.

• Security products: Stormshield Network Security, Stormshield Endpoint Security.

Which team?

You will be integrated into the SaaS team, composed of members located in Lyon and fully remote, directly within Stormshield’s Cybersecurity Department.

A phone interview with Edouard, accompanied by the architect, to present the team’s operation and the vision for the role.

A technical interview with Edouard and members of your future team, including development exercises.
