👉A bit of context :

As a General Accountant, you will be involved in all tasks and checks related to accounting within the framework of regulatory provisions and accounting standards, covering various cycles (suppliers, customers, treasury, assets, taxation, equity, etc.) across all our entities (France, Switzerland, Romania, Spain, Germany).

Within the Financial Department team and in collaboration with the Group Accounting Director, you will be responsible for managing Recommerce’s accounting with full autonomy.

🚀Your missions :

• Management of administrative and accounting tasks with responsibility :

  • Monthly analysis of accounts (general and analytical) across various cycles for both of our entities.

  • Quarterly reconciliation of intra-group flows within the Group.

  • Review of these accounts during quarterly and annual closures, including validation of working papers.

  • Involvement in the preparation of the tax return for the parent company as well as the preparation of consolidated accounts.

  • Preparation of working papers in advance of audits by our auditors.

  • Management of relationships with local accounting firms for our entities and interaction with tax authorities.

  • Implementation of reporting on your controls for the Financial Department.

  • Implementation of solutions based on your findings and analyses.

  • Optimization of the company’s accounting and financial management (using management tools).

  • General assistance on all financial and accounting matters of the Group

  • Compliance control with regulatory obligations

• Define the accounting plan to be applied and monitor its implementation :

  • Ensuring the application of the accounting process, procedures, and current accounting standards

  • Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, as well as accounting closing deadlines

• You got a master’s degree or more in Accounting and/or Audit;

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting and audit firm  is highly requested ;

• Proficient in Excel (formulas, PivotTables);

• You are familiar with SAGE and consolidation tools (French GAAP);

• You are Fluent in both oral and written English;

• You are methodical, analytical/critical thinking, reliable, proactive/independent, and an effective communicator.
