YOUR FUTURE TEAM

European SAP Team managing all SAP ECC activities around Europe to support our growth, supporting interactions with Global IT team managing SAP ECC to SAP HANA S4.

What a day in the life of the team looks like:

As part of an Application Domain of Expertise, you will identify and analyze the options for improvement or development of IT applications. As an expert, you must contribute to the maintenance of applications in case of escalation.

You will:

  • Support the domain “business owners” or BRMs (Business relationship managers) in the definition of business needs and translate them into recommendations for development/improvement of IT applications.
  • Guarantee Application Solution Design and consistency including the appropriate integration layer.
  • Promote harmonized solutions across Hubs/divisions using Standard or L’Oréal core solution as a primary asset.
  • Be able to operate or delegate to build team IT BAs key job accountability:
  • Customize/configure applications, prepare functional tests and endorse responsibility for validating developments before application roll out.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with internal clients giving regular updates on developments and improvements.
  • Participate and deploy the change management activities by accompanying end users and providing trainings.
  • Provide support as L4 on escalated maintenance issues from the Service delivery Organization. Working with Run team to resolve recurring Incidents to improve the run backlog
  • Follows PM4IT deliverables and adopt the existing ITIL processes.


Your 3 main challenges

Act as a proactive business partner:
  • Understand and absorb the “Big picture” of the L’Oréal business, operating model, processes, and roles.
  • Ability to deal with complex IT / Business organizational structures, in a multi-regional multi-cultural and diverse environment.
  • Manage efficient interactions with both internal and external contributors.
  • Support interactions with Global IT team managing SAP ECC to SAP HANA S4

Decode & influence:
  • Clarify and simplify technical concepts / solutions to facilitate action and decision making.
  • Listen actively to partners/clients to decode needs, qualify them properly and transform them in relevant technical solutions.

Facilitate knowledge management and expertise transmission:
  • Rapidly acquire new knowledge on delivered IT solutions and keeps teams constantly updated in his/her field.
  • Organize at your level the relevant transmission of the technical and/or project management skills and “know how”.


THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED!

Secondly, in this specific position, it will be important for you to have:
  • More than 5 Years of experience in SAP FICO
  • Understanding of cross domain integration is key; MM, WM, SD integration with FICO
  • Active listening and clear communication skills are key
  • Experience with Integration methods for externals applications to SAP
  • High level of English written and spoken. C1 minimum.
  • Acts as a team player and willing to share knowledge with team members
  • Proactivity. Willing to learn and understand new ways of working to go out of comfort zone
  • May have to travel up to 20% of time max
  • French, S4 HANA, SNOW are a plus

And finally, you may not be an expert with all requirements listed, however, its import to be adaptable to new Agile ways of working and keep a positive mindset
