About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to help drive HiBob’s growth across Iberia. Based in Amsterdam and partnering closely with our Sales team, you’ll be a trusted advisor to prospective customers – uncovering what matters most to their business and showing how Bob can make a meaningful difference.
This isn’t about running feature-led demos. You’ll lead strategic discovery, bring complex customer challenges to life through compelling solutions, and connect Bob’s capabilities to the outcomes our prospects care about most.
As a senior member of the team, your impact will go beyond individual opportunities. You’ll help shape deal strategy, elevate how we demonstrate value, strengthen our Sales Engineering practice, and bring the voice of Iberian customers back into the business.
If you’re a commercially minded Sales Engineer who loves solving problems, influencing complex deals, and turning great discovery into memorable customer experiences, we’d love to meet you.
Ce que l’on cherche
- 5+ years’ experience in a pre-sales Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Solutions Consulting role within B2B SaaS, with experience supporting the Iberian market.
- Fluent Spanish at C2 level, both written and spoken.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the confidence to lead high-stakes conversations with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong discovery and structured questioning skills, with the ability to uncover the business problem behind the initial requirement.
- A track record of consultative, value-based selling rather than relying on feature-led demonstrations.
- The ability to translate complex or technical concepts into clear, compelling stories for non-technical audiences.
- Strong commercial judgement and experience partnering with Account Executives on complex opportunities.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across teams, functions, and time zones.
- Resilience, resourcefulness, curiosity, and a genuine motivation to win as a team.
- Confidence using AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and buyer engagement. Hands-on experience with generative AI tools is a plus, but curiosity and willingness to experiment matter most.
Experience in HR technology – such as HRIS, ATS, Payroll, LMS, or adjacent SaaS platforms – would be a strong advantage.
