We are recruiting a new member of the group’s European commercial team to cover the DACH region with a focus on Germany.

As an experienced salesperson, you will be responsible for promoting and selling EthiFinance’s ESG products in the DACH region. The product suite includes our proprietary ESG Ratings services and database (for SMCs and private assets) and our Second Party Opinions for sustainability / green / social bonds.

Our target clients include equity and private debt fund managers, asset owners, banks, insurance companies, corporates and other issuers. Your assignment is to develop an ambitious sales prospection plan in line with the group’s strategy and to grow our customer base in German speaking markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely both with the imug rating team, based in Hannover, and the European teams (mostly based in Paris and Madrid) to further develop the successful market presence of the EthiFinance group in the DACH region

  • Lead the prospection, negotiation and commercial follow-up and ensure the closure of deals

  • Actively participate in market events and networks (FNG etc.) to enhance EthiFinance’s visibility in Germany. This also requires an active presence in professional social networks.

  • Work closely with our marketing teams and provide input for the future development of go to market and communication activities.

  • Provide accurate and articulate feedback on the regional client experience for continuous service improvement.

The specificities of the position and the level of responsibilities may be adapted according to the candidate’s profile and experience.


Profil recherché

  • Masters or equivalent level with, ideally, specialization in Finance and/or ESG related topics.

  • 10 - 15 years minimum of successful commercial experience in selling financial and/or extra-financial information services, and/or selling financial or extra-financial rating agency services, with exposure to SRI/ESG issues.

  • A very good knowledge of the asset management sector (equity/fixed income) and banks in Germany.

  • Fluency in German and English.

  • Contribute to commercial innovation (network of relevant target contacts)
