The role of the Communications Intern is to support the development and deployment of global communication programs across Calyxia’s key market segments. Working closely with the respective Business Development Managers and cross-functional teams, the intern contributes to shaping clear and consistent messaging that strengthens positioning and support business growth.
The role focuses on content creation and communication strategy execution across multiple channels. This includes both online and offline communication tools such as brochures, presentations, multimedia, trade press placements, tradeshows, direct-marketing campaigns, white papers, web-content, podcasts, videos, product brochures and other vehicles.
The Communication intern ensures that all communication initiatives reflect a cohesive brand identity and deliver consistent message across all Calyxia’s market segments. The Communications Intern will be attending to the promotional needs of all Calyxia’s Business Development Managers as well as our distributors.
➡ Role responsibilities:
Supporting the business development team in graphic design (web image, brochure …), website and social media update
Execute marketing communication plans for Calyxia and for our individual market segments, working closely with all Business Development Managers
Assist in the organization of exhibitions, trade fairs and seminars (e.g. customer days, participation in Distributor’s customer days)
Act as graphic designer for all media needs (off-line and on-line)
Manage measurement of results and effectiveness of all Marcom programming; update on a monthly basis the costs and budgeted expenditure
Manage (the continuous development of) the Calyxia website, both internally (for direct sales, distributors) and externally
Ensure consistency of Calyxia’s logos, products names, product codes
➡ Your Qualifications
(developing) Degree in Communications, or similar
Communication operational oriented profile
Experience in communication in an industrial setting
Experience in graphic design
A true, demonstrable, global outlook
A proactive team player and excellent communicator across functions and levels
Being a self-starter, actively taking initiative
Able to work with minimum supervision along agreed output lines
Communication and interpersonal skills
Problem solving and analytical skills
Focused, goal-oriented and flexible
Real French proficiency is a strong asset
