Job description
Reporting to the Group General Counsel based in France, you will actively manage and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and, more generally, act as legal advisor on a variety of issues arising in the course of the company’s business.
Primary responsibilities shall be as follows:
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts in French and English – incl. software licenses agreements (SaaS, SLA, etc.), non-disclosure agreements (NDA), vendor and services agreements, and technical partnerships.
• Review and revise terms of use and other policies pertaining to on-line products and services.
• Provide legal assistance to project leaders with respect to the submission of business proposals pursuant to requests for proposal (RFP) and invitation to tender (ITT).
• Supervise outside counsel with respect to disputes and litigations involving the group.
• Contribute to the definition, revision and development of legal practices and templates.
Depending on experience, your responsibilities may be extended to certain additional matters.
Preferred experience
• Master’s degree in business law.
• 4-7 years of post-qualification experience gained at top law firms and/or large companies operating in a technology industry with significant international exposure. Experience in healthcare industry would be an asset.
• Fluency in both English and French (part of the hiring process will be conducted in English).
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Highly organized with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in an international environment.
