ABOUT THE POSITION

As Backend Developer, you will work closely with our CTO on the backend development (mostly Python) and support our existing developers on the frontend to build and scale new features.

This is a great position to work on challenging projects (big data, optimisation & machine learning), make an impact and evolve within our fast-growing company. Over time, you will own a significant chunk of our architecture, design and build systems at scale, and shape our product decisions. Among a supporting team, you will:

• Work across the stack to deliver new features from start-to-finish

• Improve performance and overcome scalability and computation limits

• Implement compelling, usable UIs

• Own meaningful parts of our service, have an impact, grow within the company

Requirements:

• Strong academic background / Master’s degree preferably from a top institution
• Solid experience with Python. Django, Javascript & Docker is a +
• 2+ years of xp in software development (agile environment / tech company)
• Familiar with data structures and algorithms & optimization
• Value code simplicity, performance & details
• Growth mindset & looking to join a successful start-up
• Fluent in both French and English & available for a full-time position

Nice to have:

• Experience with GCP & Kubernetes
