The product is currently in beta testing phase with the goal of an official launch in 2026. As the senior design leader on this strategic initiative, sets the design vision and direction for the product.
Responsibilities:
Delivers impactful solutions that solve complex user problems and move business metrics by displaying an expert level understanding of user-centered design methodologies. Mentors Lara (Confirmed designer on ATS) to help her grow, shares learnings across the design team, and maintains consistency across the product despite distributed teams.
Enhances current design processes by implementing new initiatives and improving existing ones. Leads by example by contributing to design inspiration sharing, documentation of decisions and patterns, and experimentation with AI-assisted design tools or methodologies that elevate the team’s design practice.
**What makes this opportunity unique:
**
You’re shaping a product from scratch. This is a rare opportunity to influence core product decisions and design patterns without the constraints of legacy systems. Working with our brand-new design system “Find Your People”, your design choices will define what modern recruitment software looks like.
AI is at the heart of everything we build. You’ll push the boundaries of AI-powered interfaces, exploring how to make complex AI capabilities feel intuitive and trustworthy for recruiters. This isn’t about adding AI features—it’s about reimagining recruitment workflows entirely.
You’ll see impact immediately. We’re in beta with real users, which means your designs are tested and validated continuously. You’ll conduct user research, ship iterations in 2-week cycles, and witness firsthand how your work transforms hiring teams’ daily lives.
You’ll lead while learning. You’ll own the design direction for your squad’s projects—from research and concept to final UI—while being surrounded by an experienced design team. You’ll collaborate daily with Lara (another Confirmed designer on the ATS), exchange with Pauline and Claire (Senior designers), and get guidance from Sandy (your Design Manager) and Janina (Lead Designer) whenever you need it.
At Welcome to the Jungle, we are all coming from (really) different backgrounds—that’s our main strength!
You could be someone we’d love to collaborate with if:
You have 6-8+ years of experience in Product Design, with a proven track record of leading and shipping complex B2B SaaS products from concept to launch. You’ve been the design owner of significant initiatives and delivered measurable business impact.
You’re an expert in several areas of design with deep expertise in at least one. Whether it’s interaction design, UX research, information architecture, or systems thinking—you have mastery that you bring to every project and can teach others.
You lead through influence, not authority. You’re comfortable being the design voice at the table with senior PMs and EMs, shaping strategy and roadmap. You challenge assumptions constructively, advocate for users with conviction, and bring clarity to ambiguous problems. You co-lead, you don’t wait to be led.
You’re excited about AI and emerging technologies. You see AI as an opportunity to fundamentally rethink user experiences, not just add features. You’re comfortable exploring uncharted territory, prototyping new interaction patterns, and validating bold ideas with users.
You have exceptional craft and systems thinking. You create elegant, structured interfaces that scale. You think in systems and patterns, contribute meaningfully to design systems, and ensure consistency across complex products. Your Figma work is exemplary—organized, documented, and built for collaboration.
You communicate with impact in English. Whether presenting design strategy to leadership, facilitating workshops with international stakeholders, or conducting research with UK recruiters, you adapt your communication style to your audience and context.
