At Shippeo, we connect thousands of carriers and collect millions of data points daily to provide business-critical visibility to our ocean and road customers. Our Data Quality team plays a pivotal role in our operations, ensuring continuous monitoring and enhancement of data completeness and accuracy shared with our customers. As a Data Quality Operations Analyst reporting to a Senior Data Quality Manager, your role is to support this mission by monitoring data quality in multi-modal logistics, engaging carriers, and collaborating closely with our Carrier, Customer Success, and Product teams to enhance our data quality.

📊 Key responsibilities:

  • Implement Data Quality playbooks and protocols on a daily basis:

  • Review dashboards and incoming alerts

  • Analyze and investigate issues to identify root causes following our internal methodology

  • Engage in issue resolution by interacting with carriers (calls, meetings, email campaigns) or internal stakeholders

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and action plans based on Data Quality requests from internal teams or customers, providing specific reports as needed for customer onboarding and success

  • Occasionally participate in Data Quality status calls with customers

  • Own Data Quality metrics within your scope, measure and report them to your manager, peers, and the company. Ultimately, define action plans and requirements to further improve Data Quality.

  • Support the design and implementation of internal processes, playbooks, and automation related to Data Quality.

  • Encourage new ideas and improvements, coordinating the development of carrier solutions and new platform features with our Tech and Product teams.


Requisitos

Qualifications

👑 Preferred Experience and Profile:

  • Proficiency in French and English (mandatory), Germand is a plus

  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management

  • Experience in the transport/logistics industry or in the Operations department of a startup

Required Skills and Qualities:

  • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority

  • Proven data analysis skills, with the capacity to perform data cleaning, transformation, and insights discovery

  • Proficient in MS Excel or Google Sheets

  • Tech-savviness and understanding of the API world is a strong plus

  • High level of organization and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently with G-Suite, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Proactive, self-starting attitude

  • Performance and improvement-focused

  • Ability to complete tasks while keeping all parties informed of impacts on timelines
