Thanh-Long has been at the forefront of R&D for the past 20 years for major international investment banks and asset management firms. As early as 1998, he was among the first people to develop algorithms for systematic investment in financial markets.
He is now involved in setting up partnerships to acquire new data sources and to be at the forefront of AI, both in text and image analysis.
Thanh-Long graduated from ENSAE ParisTech in Statistics, the University of Chicago in Financial Mathematics, the Sorbonne in Finance and ESCP in Asset Management. He taught at Paris-I Panthéon-Assas in Applied Mathematics.
Thanh-Long thrives on selecting wines from different regions of the world and visiting wineries as well as implementing econometric models.
Oussama is an engineer from ENSIIE and holds a Master's degree in DataScale from the University of Paris-Saclay. In 2016, Oussama joined the team directly after his 2nd year engineering school internship.
After contributing to the implementation of NLP algorithms in Arabic, Oussama is also working on the implementation of a big data infrastructure and the production of AI models.
At 23 years old, Oussama has travelled to the Middle East several times to represent the company.
Oussama particularly likes the position of striker during football games (five) and introduces the team to Moroccan flavours.
Alice joined QuantCube in 2017 following her final year internship. Alice was involved in hyperspectral analysis from satellite data, developing and implementing deep learning algorithms to estimate urban economic growth but also agricultural yields. Today, she is in charge of the development of new QuantCube products.
Alice is an engineer from Arts et Métiers ParisTech, in addition to a Master in Finance from the Sorbonne.
She is also passionate about theatre, especially improvisation, and has a secret technique for preparing foie gras in 15 minutes for Christmas dinner.

QuantCube Technology has been using artificial intelligence and big data analytics to provide real-time macroeconomic insights since 2013.
The company operates one of the world's largest alternative data lakes, processing over 14 billion pieces of data. Sources include news, social media, satellite data, and sea and air traffic.
QuantCube's macroeconomic indicators (economic growth, inflation, employment, international trade), correlate strongly with official data and far exceed consensus. Financial institutions that use QuantCube data benefit from real-time insights, ahead of official figures, which they can transform into investment strategies.
Based in Paris, our team is international, diverse and specialized in multilingual NLP, Deep Learning and Machine Learning techniques. The company's shareholders include Moody's and Caisse des Dépôts. And its R&D in computer vision has been partially funded by the European Space Agency (ESA) and CNES.
