The  Payroll Manager will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and reviewing payroll guidelines to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions.


As our  Payroll Manager, you will join a team of 10 people and will directly report to Natalia, our Head of People Operations. You will work closely with our payroll provider ADP, our finance team, and all the People Ops Managers.


👩‍💻🧑‍💻As a Payroll Manager at Qonto, you will


Daily operations: ensure the accuracy and timely payroll processing including new hires, terminations, and salary changes;

Support: be the first point of contact for ADP (our payroll tool) and the referent in terms of payroll through our different markets (France, Germany, Italy & Spain);

Processes and improvements: standardize and refine all procedures and elements that have an impact on payroll matters (time management, salaries, wage garnishments, taxes, benefits);

Go beyond: be in charge of the control for payroll compliance and ensure we are up to date with current and future regulations;

People team training: enhance the payroll knowledge through different training sessions to the People Operations Manager's team.

Your manager will be Natalia, who is our Head of People Operations.



🏅About You


Experience: You have 6 + years of experience in payroll management with experience in a similar fast-paced international environment.

Mastery: You are at ease with ADP solutions or equivalent and Syntec collective agreement;

Organizational skills: You are hands-on and able to multitask and prioritize your daily workload;

Problem solver;

Communication skills: You have an impactful presentation style: you will represent Qonto, and you have outstanding communication & interpersonal skills;

Team player: You are able to work strategically and collaboratively with different teams;

Languages: You are fluent in English and French. Mastery of another language (Italian, Spanish or German) is a definite plus.
