After gaining several professional qualifications and providing IT services to a multi-national logistics company, Andy’s career really began after joining Ontex back in 2004 and the local IT professional in the UK.

Following this Andy grew his position and department alongside rapid business growth to become IT Manager for the UK & Ireland business, which included full responsibility for a local custom application utilised in the home delivery market.

Now working as Product Owner of Home Delivery in the Digital Factory, Andy is leading the development of a new global application that will first operate throughout several countries across Europe. Working to create a single solution with the flexibility to suit multiple markets whilst also planning for integration with other solutions being delivered by the Digital Factory is a real challenge, but luckily Andy loves to take on a challenge....

As evidenced when he decided to jump from the Bloukrans Bridge in South Africa to complete the highest bridge bungee jump in the world!

Joël joined Ontex Digital Factory in 2019 with 21 years of professional experience including 15 years in project management or innovation direction and 3 years as a CTO in an IoT startup. He was responsible for managing projects of all sizes (from 2 to 100 people) for clients of different backgrounds and in different countries. His technical skills combined with his experience of large multi-site projects allow him to adapt to the projects entrusted to me at all times. Joël is a very curious person and is attracted by innovation and new technologies in which he gives the best of himself. That’s why naturally, when Ontex introduced the smart diaper challenge to him, Joël didn’t hesitate and jumped on board at Ontex Digital Factory as a Product Owner.

Thanks to the program between his school in China (/ in Shanghai) and in France, Weiwei has obtained his master's degree in 2012 in information systems engineering. He started the career in a telecommunications company for developing a WiFi portal and some e-commerce websites. During these years of experience, he has developed strong technical skills and has become the leader of the technical team. Looking for new challenges, Weiwei joined Ontex Digital Factory at the end of 2018 as Lead Developer. It was also the beginning of the very first 100% digital mark « Little Big Change » of the group Ontex. Weiwei is someone who enjoys resolving problems and then it’s not hard to understand that he likes playing board games in his spare time. He also travels a lot during the breaks and holidays to discover different cultures, lifestyles and sceneries.

Anna joined Ontex in 2020 to help with development and maintenance of the company's brands websites. A recent transplant from Los Angeles to Paris, she came on board with quite a few years of experience working with web content management systems. Anna holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of California in Irvine and a joint master's degree in Software Engineering from UPM and UNiBZ in Europe. In her work she likes a good challenge to make a web product more robust and intuitive, both for front- end and back-end users alike. Simplicity, in her opinion, is a very valuable and undervalued quality which we should all strive for - both in code and in life. In her spare time, Anna likes to travel, which is one of the biggest passions in her life that was instilled in her by her father. After she started her globe-trotting at 16, Anna has lived in 6 countries since then and calls at least three cities in the world "home". She considers family the most important thing in every person's life and tries to see her loved ones as much as she can, given the long distances that separate all of them. Another big passion of her life is advocating for animal welfare and supporting the anti-vivisection movement first in America and now also in Europe.
