Job description

Who will you be working for?

Our partner is a Retail Apparel and Fashion company that uses tailor-made technology and operations solutions to connect fashion brands to secondhand marketplaces giving a second life to products.

Their core mission: empower brands through circular economy

What is this job about?

In this position as Demand Planner your goal is to ensure that the sales targets are achieved by ensuring an appropriate stock level.

On a daily basis, you will develop forecast models, analyze inventory flow and estimate future product demand.

Your challenges

Gather and analyze all data related to sales forecast (historical sales,market trends, seasonality, promotions) and purchasing needs (stocks, transits, lead times, MOQ)
Asses brands and retailers performance in terms of fill rates and lead times
Liaise with the Brands Partnership team to ensure timely availability of stock
Identify slow moving products and take appropriate actions
Work closely with the Brands Partnerships team of the company to estimate sales of new brand/retailers
Review KPIs and adjust forecast models accordingly
Constantly improve the forecasting techniques, methods and approaches used

Preferred experience

What do you need to apply?

  • Language skills: advanced level in English (C1+)
  • At least 4 years of experience in a demand/supply planning role in retail, FMCG or e-commerce
  • Ability to create sales and stock forecast
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Outstanding analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders (internal teams)

Extra points

Having any of the following is highly valued by our partner and can be a great plus!

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in logistics in the fashion retail industry
  • C1 level in German or French

Important: For this position, you will be working in Lisbon, Portugal. You will need to be in possession of an EU VISA.
