In the Czech Republic, we are known as Livesport, but globally, people recognize us primarily as Flashscore. We welcome over 110 million users each month, offering them results, statistics, and news from more than 35 sports. At peak times, our platform handles over 2 million requests per second.

With a huge monthly volume of page views (up to 5 billion), we place great emphasis on optimizing React rendering, data transfer optimization, and backend load management. Even a small mistake can cause significant embarrassment; therefore, we need to write code that scales well and is easily testable.

In our frontend team, you also have the opportunity to work on other projects for which we've chosen a new tech stack. We are looking for a mid-level React developer. What will you do?

• Modifications and implementation of new features for our flagship product Flashscore.

• Working on new projects that we are starting or planning to undertake.

• Maintaining and refactoring existing code.

• Improving the approaches and methods we use on the website. We value every new idea.

What are we looking for?

• You have solid experience with React, TypeScript, and the version control system GIT.

• You understand the concept of SSR, and you know what can be done on the server versus what needs to be managed in the client browser.

• You are an experienced front-end web developer. Your understanding of backend development concepts is a welcome bonus.

• You are capable of properly testing your code.

• We are team players and we are learning a lot of new stuff all the time. We would appreciate these values.

• You won't be intimidated by our new tech stack, as illustrated by the diagram.

We will be extra happy if you have

• Knowledge of CDN benefits, when it is appropriate to use, and when it is not.

• Understanding of the concept of server side rendering, as React is gradually transitioning towards it.

• Awareness of LESS and SASS.

• Experience with CI/CD in GitLab.

• Basic skills in web performance optimization (core web vitals, react.memo, code splitting) and accessibility.
