EOS imaging

EOS imaging is the result of a collaboration between Georges Charpak, winner of the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1992, and the Biospace teams. The first detector, based on this technology, was integrated into the first-generation machine, marketed in 2007. The second-generation machine, EOSedge, was launched in 2019. In 2021, ATEC Spine acquires EOS imaging, with the aim of providing the surgeon with as much information as possible in the pre-op phase, in order to minimize unpredictable surgical events and significantly increase the success rate of spine surgery.

EOS imaging and ATEC aim to improve the quality of patient care. The products we are currently developing aim to significantly improve the surgeon's experience by offering a complete solution for planning, performing and measuring the success of surgery, both before and afterwards.
