Part of the Duck Creek company is Imburse, a cloud-native SaaS payment solution built for the insurance industry. This role will be working with the Imburse team.

You will be part of a squad extending and enhancing the offering of our Imburse platform. Imburse is a payments integration product designed to facilitate insurers’ access to the global payment ecosystem. This role is part of an expansion of the engineering team to launch Imburse in the US market in 2024 and meet all the interesting technical challenges that will bring.

 As a Full Stack Engineer, your contribution will span everything from our UI portals to API and backend services in a highly available, globally distributed multi-tenant platform. You will be responsible for the full life cycle of your work. This includes communicating with stakeholders, testing, iterating purposefully, deploying, and monitoring the impact of your projects.

Our current tech stack includes:

• React, TypeScript, Node and Web Components

• C#/.NET 6+ with ASP.NET

• Cosmos DB and SQL Server

• Everything is hosted on Azure using Kubernetes

• Degree preferred or equivalent years of practical job experience in a similar function or role

• 4-6 years experience in software development with design, coding, and/or configuring solutions for moderate complexity agile stories

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS (includes pre-processors such as SASS), and TypeScript

• Experience building cross-browser single-page applications using React (open to people with strong knowledge of other SPA frameworks)

• Experience building ASP.NET API applications in C#/.NET 5+

• Experience with Azure or another major cloud platform

• Fluent verbal and written English skills essential

First stage:

• HR Call

• HM reviews CV + HR screening call notes

• Online Cognitive and personality assessments (~35 minutes)

Second stage:

• Live Coding session with senior engineers and/or Hiring manager

Final:

• Culture Fit/ Motivational Interview with Engineering Director
