    Job description

    Cubyn provides innovative logistics services to hundreds of large and small ecommerce outfits and leading marketplaces.
    The company was created in 2015 in Paris and operates a delivery network in France and Spain.

    Further to a second round of investment (series B), the company has started scaling up across Europe around its core offering. As part of its aggressive product roadmap, it has developed innovative consumer facing offerings, Cubyn Trust and Cubyn Care. They provide financial guarantees to the consumers if goods ordered are damaged or delivered late.
    Similar to what Paypal did in the payment industry, Cubyn’s ambition is to become a trusted third party for the delivery experience and enhance the shopping experience of millions of shoppers.

    In that context, the primary goal for the role is to drive the acquisition of large and smaller merchants in Iberia, and be the marketing leader for our expansion in Iberia.

    In that context, your responsibilities will be to:

    • Own top of the funnel metrics in Spain with a focus on large merchant acquisition
    • Develop initiatives and programs to acquire merchants in Spain, inclusive of content, partnership and PR activities
    • Work closely with sales, marketing functions and partnership teams to develop sustainable merchant acquisition tactics

    You will report into the VP, Marketing for Cubyn.

    Preferred experience

    • Academic background : BA in management or business administration, Master’s degree or equivalent is a plus
    • Soft skills : Analytical thinking, strong bias for action, ability to execute both tactically and programmatically, We are looking for a team player: proven ability to earn the trust of team mates and partners.
    • Required job experience : Familiarity with online (content based) and offline B to B acquisition strategies. A previous experience as a merchant facing field marketer is a must.
    • Language : English and Spanish are a must. Mastery of French, Italian or German is a plus.

    1. Logic Test

This test gives us an idea about your ability to analyze information, detect patterns and relationships, and solve problems on a complex, intangible level. After you submit your answers, we’ll check your results and get in touch.

    2. Pre-screen call
    Once you’ve passed the logic test, one of our recruiters will reach out for the first interview. This is our chance to get to know you better and see which roles in the pipeline you might be best suited for. We’ll ask questions in regards to your previous experience and your career interests.

    3. First round interviews
    When you are invited to your first round of interviews, you will be directly scheduled for a set of interviews. Depending on the team you want to join, you might be asked to perform a technical test.
    As part of the first round of interviews, we will focus on the set of skills needed for the role you applied for

    4. Second round interviews
    This interviews aim to understand your view on several organizational topics and situations in the past where you have demonstrated values and behaviors that we value at Cubyn.
