Kenneth saw early on how the digital world, if left unchecked, could take a toll on future generations.

Raised in the quiet hills of the Alps, he grew up knowing what balance felt like long before it became something we had to search for.

That contrast between the calm of nature and the pull of the online world shaped what would eventually become Opal: a mission to help people reclaim focus, presence, and time.

Peter joined Opal as one of the first iOS engineers back in 2022, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge in building intuitive, high-performing apps. He’s been a key part of shaping our mobile experience from the ground up.

When he’s not shipping, he’s also our unofficial class clown, Wicked enthusiast and occasional in-house barista.

Marjolaine also joined Opal in 2023 as a Creative Partnerships Manager and quickly took the reins as our Organic Growth Lead. She drives strategy and campaigns that have helped our community grow faster than ever.

Off-duty, she’s our plant whisperer and matcha lover.

Andy came aboard in 2023 as Lead of Operations, keeping Opal running smoothly from the inside out. He’s the go-to for solving problems before they happen and keeping our momentum strong.

He’s also our playlist curator, tea drinker and the American side kick to Peter’s jokes.

Sarah joined in 2024 as our Support Lead making sure every Opal member gets the help they need. She’s the voice you want on the other end when things get tricky.

Based in Finland, Sarah is also the singer in a successful band and a freelance journalist! Because why settle for one talent when you can have three?
