ZE Energy is seeking a Portfolio Manager/PPA Structurer to join its Energy Management team responsible for operating and optimizing hybrid power plants, structuring energy contracts, and developing our optimization platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on energy portfolio management strategies and structuring PPA contracts in coordination with various internal and external stakeholders.

• Portfolio Management

Work on the energy portfolio management strategy for operational renewable and battery storage assets.

Analyze revenue streams, propose different route-to-market strategies (direct access vs. third parties), and identify potential business partners (trading counterparties, aggregators, etc.).

Implement the action plan and set up energy portfolio management processes, risk management measures, position management policies, and reporting.

Supervise, monitor, and enhance day-to-day short-term optimization & bidding strategies across different markets (reserves, wholesale, balancing).

Serve as a product manager with our data and tech team to develop optimization strategies within our internal platform.

• Green & Flexibility Structuring

Design and implement renewable and storage PPAs.

Coordinate and work closely with all relevant internal and external stakeholders during the deal approval process.

Contribute to the development/improvement of pricing and risk assessment methodologies in close collaboration with quantitative analysts.

Negotiate corporate PPAs with industrial players.

• Master’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years experience in the energy industry in portfolio management, energy trading, and/or power asset optimization. Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and transform it into actionable strategies.

• Programming skills (Python, SQL) would be a plus.

• Entrepreneurial and positive attitude with a strong passion for the renewable energy field.

• Rigorous and organized, ready to manage several parallel projects in a dynamic environment.

• Fluent in French and English; Any additional language knowledge (e.g., Spanish, Italian, German,…) is a plus.
