In this role, you will join our Finance department, and be a part of the Finance Business Partner team led by Chloé. The Finance Business Partner team’s mission is to manage reporting, budgeting and controlling processes in order to make sure our company scales efficiently. 

Welcome to the Jungle recently acquired the London-based company Otta and is willing to develop its activities in the UK and the US. In this context, we are looking for an International FBP to build business partnering relationships with the cross functional teams on this international scope (UK and US).

MISSIONS

Reporting directly to Chloé, Finance Business Partner Team Lead, your main missions will be:

Reporting & Analysis

• In charge of monthly/quarterly closings for our international entities in order to get accurate and reliable data

• Produce, analyze and control the different P&L and financial reports 

• Analyze local performance (financial and operational KPIs evolution, variances between actuals and budget, etc.) and help the business-decision making process 

• Work with our accounting department to review and control the local expenses, while ensuring alignment with Group analytical reporting  

• Prepare clear, synthetic and impactful reporting deck for the top management and Country Managers monthly and quarterly  

• Lead ad-hoc analysis with the help of our Data team to improve our KPIs and accompany teams

Business Partnering 

• Be the main Finance interlocutor of the budget owners for daily questions, budget construction and strategic matters

• Establish regular meetings with budget owners to get feedback, cost and project updates and get them onboarded

• Make sure budget follow-ups are up to date, bring support to teams, follow local projects and calculate ROI 

• Analyze monthly cost/ROI performances and provide intelligence/processes to operational teams in order to improve key metrics

Budget & Reforecasts 

• Be an active participant of yearly budget building and quarterly re-forecasting process 

• Complete financial hypothesis linked to OKRs and coming projects with budget owners 

• Analyze monthly and quarterly discrepancies between budgets and reality, then share presentations to international stakeholders highlighting where they stand

• Pro-actively conduct deep cost analysis related to your perimeter

• Participate to budget follow-ups construction and work closely with the other FBP team members to optimize the process and ensure smooth collaboration with budget owners and Accounting teams 

Tools & Processes 

• In charge of co-constructing and implementing local costs policies and processes 

• Participate in optimizing our ERP and other financial tools

• Build scalable processes to achieve a perfect accuracy and remove as much as possible manual inputs

Our International Finance Business Partner would be someone with:

• 2-3 years of experience in a Controlling / FBP position in an international environment

• Experience in a fast moving company (start-up / scale-up)

• Excellent written/verbal communication skills both in French and English

• Team player and comfortable working with Senior profiles in cross functional teams

• Strong analytical mindset: ability to build Excel-based automated decision tools

• Organization, rigor and sense of ownership
