Missions
Worldia is a fast growing company and our tech division is scaling accordingly, as a consequence our main challenge is to guarantee high quality deliveries. To reach this objective, we are searching for a proactive QA engineer who will be part of a scrum back-end development team. You will work closely with PO, Developers, and other QA’s.
Your main accountabilities will be :
- Validate features and User stories to maintain high quality standards :
- Create test plan / matrix / coverage
- Perform manual API testing on Postman with javascript code
- Create and run automated tests
- Track and improve automatic testing (unit / functional and E2E) coverage for your team’s scope
- Monitor your team’s releases and ensure post release quality monitoring (data-driven approach to quality)
- Define and follow-up activities to track and measure quality (health matrix, # bug, resolution time …); plus coach / mentor your scrum team to improve them
- Own, within your scrum team, the QA strategy defined by the QA manager to improve quality deliveries cross teams
- Maintain and improve the E2E non-regression test suite with the QA Manager
- Manage test tool design, implementation and usage
- Influence other team members to increase QA mindset and deliveries’ quality
To perform successfully this mission, we expect from you to be fluent on those technical skills :
- Postman (API validation tool)
- Javascript
- Git
- Mocking server
- Agile Methodology
- Release management practices
- Feature validation best practices (test strategy / coverage/plan ...)
- Bug investigation (log readings)
- English (written & spoken)
Some other expertise would be nice to have :
- JIRA
- Architecture basics
- Code quality concepts
- Other programming languages knowledge
- Test framework Tool (i.e Test Rail, XRail ... )

Experience :
- Minimum 6 years of QA engineer’s experience
- Worked in different companies and teams
- Led transversal QA initiatives outside scrum teams
- Developer's background is a plus
- Studied a computer science or engineering major

- A technical interview ending with a 30-minutes live coding session with Enji, QA manager, to evaluate your hard skills and the way you operate - 1:30 hour
- An interview with the VP of engineering and an Engineering Manager to create a strong alignment on what we'll be expected from you and help you project yourself within the team - 1 hour
- A last team "fit" interview with two people of the tech team - 30 min
