Our Tech team is growing, and we’re looking for a QA Engineer to help us deliver a flawless, high-quality experience to our millions of users. Reporting directly to Aurélien, our CTO, you’ll play a central role in securing the reliability, performance, and stability of one of the most widely used mobile apps in France.
Part detective, part guardian of quality, part problem-solver — and 100% committed to ensuring that everything we ship is smooth, stable, and delightful for our users.
Your impact/responsabilities
As a QA Engineer at WeWard, you will oversee:
Managing and/or overseeing externalization
Take over and/or supervise our QA partner’s testing roadmap.
Co-build the QA strategy with the CTO (Aurélien), Head of Mobile (Julien), and CPO (David).
Product testing & validation
Execute end-to-end tests on weekly releases (iOS & Android).
Establish, maintain and improve functional, integration, and regression test plans.
Document and track issues in Linear (qualification, reproduction, prioritization).
Use Datadog to analyze production behaviors, cross logs & metrics, and detect weak signals.
Level 2 Support
Act as the bridge between Customer Support (Level 1) and Developers (Level 3).
Reproduce reported issues, analyze context (device, OS, logs, etc.), and assess impact.
Write complete bug reports that developers can use immediately.
Automation
Design and maintain medium-term automated tests:
E2E
Mobile regression tests
Critical product scenarios
Use frameworks adapted to mobile environments such as Detox, Maestro, or AI-based automatic test generation tools.
Integrate tests into the CI/CD (GitHub Actions / Bitrise).
Continuous improvement
Challenge the release cycle and suggest optimizations (risks, regressions, coverage).
Improve QA / Product / Support workflows.
Contribute to documentation and quality standards.

You’re the perfect match if…
Engineering degree or equivalent in computer science (Master’s level).
Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile or web QA.
B2C experience is a plus.
Startup or fast-growing product environment experience appreciated.
Strong mastery of functional, E2E, and exploratory testing.
Solid understanding of mobile environments (iOS, Android) and device constraints.
Knowledge of mobile testing tools:
Detox, Maestro
AI-powered mobile testing tools
API/backend testing: Postman, pyTest, Python, OpenAPI
Basic coding knowledge and ability to communicate with developers (WeWard uses TypeScript & Python).
Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
