Design, train, and industrialize computer vision models to improve the reliability of detection and tracking systems within Vizzia’s Safety scope.
This role has a direct impact on the safety, robustness, and real-world performance of deployed AI systems.
Design, train, and evaluate computer vision models (object detection, tracking, multimodal recognition).
Industrialize models in collaboration with DevOps and Data Engineering teams: deployment, monitoring, and versioning.
Optimize inference performance (latency, cost, GPU consumption) using TensorRT / ONNX / Jetson.
Structure and document experiments with scientific rigor (reproducibility, protocols, metrics).
Provide technical mentorship to junior data scientists and support their skill development.
Actively contribute to scientific watch and technology choices for future Safety AI components.
Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent.
4+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in applied Computer Vision (excluding pure research).
Strong proficiency with Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Proven experience with object detection and tracking models (YOLO, Faster R-CNN, RetinaNet, etc.).
Experience manipulating or fine-tuning vision-language models (CLIP, Gemini, GPT-4, etc.).
Solid understanding of image preprocessing pipelines and edge-case handling.
Hands-on experience in MLOps: production deployment, monitoring, and model versioning.
Good understanding of cloud and scalability constraints.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.

Strong scientific curiosity and active monitoring of the latest advances in computer vision and generative AI.
