Within the Legal Chapter of 74Software (more than twenty lawyers worldwide), and more specifically within the Legal Department of SBS Software, you will act as Legal Business Partner for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region.

As a key point of contact for sales and project teams, you will play a central role in securing and structuring our legal operations across this strategic area.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze, draft, negotiate, and manage contracts: software licenses, maintenance, SaaS, integration projects, outsourcing, partnerships, support services, etc.
• Provide legal support to operational teams in both their day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the software industry and SBS Software’s business.
• Manage legal risks and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal legal practices.
• Actively participate in the 74Software Group Compliance Program.
• Escalate key information and provide recommendations to management.

Au sein du Legal Chapter de 74Software (plus de vingt juristes dans le monde), et plus précisément au sein de la Direction juridique de SBS Software, vous serez le Legal Business Partner de la zone Middle East Africa (MEA).

Interlocuteur privilégié des équipes commerciales et projets, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la sécurisation et la structuration juridique de nos opérations sur ce périmètre stratégique.

• Analyse, rédaction, négociation et suivi de contrats : licences, maintenance, SaaS, projets d’intégration, infogérance, partenariats, assistance, etc.
• Accompagnement juridique des équipes opérationnelles dans leurs activités quotidiennes et stratégiques.
• Veille juridique sur les évolutions impactant le secteur logiciel et les activités de SBS Software.
• Gestion des risques juridiques et contribution à l’amélioration continue de nos pratiques internes.
• Participation active au Programme Conformité du Groupe 74 Software.
• Remontée d’informations clés et recommandations auprès du management.

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Business Law, IT Law, Intellectual Property, or Contract Law.
• 3 to 5 years of successful experience in the software publishing or digital services industry.
• Excellent drafting skills, strong attention to detail, and high level of rigor.
• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to make decisions, prioritize, communicate effectively, and work cross-functionally.
• Strong interest in negotiation, business challenges, and contractual innovation.
• Exceptional attention to detail (yes, you are the kind of person who reads all the clauses — even the hidden ones — and knows exactly when to use “notwithstanding” 😉).

• Bac+5 (Master 2) en droit des affaires, NTIC, propriété intellectuelle ou contrats,
• 3 à 5 ans d’expérience réussie dans l’édition de logiciels ou les services numériques,
• Excellentes compétences rédactionnelles, sens du détail et forte rigueur,
• Maîtrise parfaite de l’anglais à l’oral comme à l’écrit,
• Capacité à décider, prioriser, communiquer et travailler en transversal,
• Goût pour la négociation, les enjeux business et l’innovation contractuelle,
• Un sens aigu du détail (oui, vous êtes de ceux qui lisent toutes les clauses, y compris les plus cachées… et savent utiliser « nonobstant » à bon escient.)
