Job Description

Kiln is the leading enterprise-grade staking platform, enabling institutional customers to stake assets, and to white-label staking functionality into their offering.

We're looking for a Finance & Operations Intern to join our Finance team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

1. Financial reporting and accounting

   • Ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting by maintaining precise records.

   • Execute timely processing of payments and accurate categorization of fiat and crypto transactions.

   • Comply with relevant accounting standards and financial regulations.

   • Coordinate with accountants to facilitate thorough and efficient bookkeeping.

2. Financial planning and analysis

   • Develop and refine financial models to forecast future financial performance.

   • Collaborate with various departments to prepare and monitor the annual budget.

   • Conduct analysis to compare budgeted figures against actual outcomes, providing insights and recommendations.

   • Support strategic decision-making by providing data-driven insights and financial analyses.

3. Treasury management

   • Oversee the organization's cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk management strategies.

   • Manage and optimize holdings in both crypto and fiat currencies to support operational and strategic goals.

   • Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective treasury management.

   • Monitor financial markets and global economic conditions to inform treasury decisions.

Skills & background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics or Technology

• High interest in crypto and familiarity with tooling (blockchain explorers, etc.)

• Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets

• French and English speaker (fluent).

Ideally

• Experience in a crypto company is a plus

• Knowledge in SQL, Python
