What’s a Head of Product, at Seyna ?

Every team member at Seyna is responsible for - and to - all our users. On the client side (brokers, distributors, the final insurer consumer or company) and on the capital side (reinsurers, other insurance companies). Our Head of Product will:

• Contribute to Seyna’s business strategy, and make sure our product is an enabler to achieve those goals
• Make sure Seyna is actively investing and progressing on achieving its long term platform vision
• Create a coherent vision of what our products should be, and understand where they might fall short today
• Define Seyna’s product roadmap, dealing with ambiguous prioritisation needs
• Execute the whole product cycle : from user research to identifying the problem, to writing specs, to tracking development, to QA, to evangelising the finished product
• Collaborate with engineering, to make sure the roadmap moves fast and is delivered with high standards
• Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results
• Be a leader at Seyna - articulate and evangelize Seyna’s roadmap, decisions and tradeoffs, internally and externally
• Report directly to our CEO
• (In the future, hire a team for product. We’re looking for someone with the skills to lead a product team, yet who also enjoys the fact that initially you’ll do it all)

What we hope you have

• 6+ years experience as a product manager, and additional experience heading PM (either a whole company, or at minimum a full product). Meaningful stints in product research or design, software engineering, and/or sales or marketing are a plus
• Big bonus if already at a platform company, with exposure to data applications and integrations
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional organizations. You are comfortable with all the functions (product, engineering, sales, accounting, marketing, legal etc…), and they love you too
• Excellent communication skills, in french and in english
• Deep understanding of technology, with a proclivity for simplicity
• Proven record of shipping features on time and on budget
• Flexible and focused on solutions
• A head for experimentation, measurement, and data-driven decision-making
• Proven understanding of, and empathy for, business people. Show us your off-the-charts customer satisfaction scores
• Organized and self-sufficient
