Brevo has a strong data culture and deals with billions of events each month.

The data team has 3 missions:

- Fight against frauders (spammers, phishers, payment abuse) to protect our users

- Help our clients to leverage their data with AI

- Make the data accessible to everyone at Brevo to help them to make the right decisions

As Senior Data Scientist, you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop analytical strategies for practical solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive data exploration, auditing, and cleaning to ensure dataset reliability and integrity.
  • Design and implement new platform features using innovative solutions and rapid iteration methods to solve complex issues.
  • Oversee data science projects, including post-deployment monitoring and maintenance for ongoing efficiency.
  • Contribute to developing and executing data quality strategies to maintain high standards across our data ecosystem.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose strategic initiatives for project integration.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure successful project execution.
  • Lead the implementation of new machine learning and AI algorithms, coordinating with teams for seamless deployment.
  • Foster collaboration across teams to align objectives and facilitate communication.

    • Our technical stack: Python, Airflow/Composer, dbt, GCP (Cloud function, BigQuery, GCS, BigTable), MongoDB, Metabase, ZenML, Neo4j, Kubernetes

    What will contribute to your success:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Engineering.
  • 4/5+ years of experience in Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning/Deep Learning, or MLOps Engineering roles.
  • Proficient in Python for statistical analysis, visualization, and modeling.
  • Experienced in deploying and maintaining ML/DL models in production environments.
  • Skilled in SQL, NoSQL databases, or cloud platforms.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to translate business questions into technical specifications.
  • Fluent in English, with multicultural work experience; proficiency in another language is advantageous.
