Descriptif du poste

To sustain our growth in the North American market, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager in charge of our Marine and Hydrographic markets.

You will work with our customers on a variety of projects, from subsea unmanned vehicles, hydrography and oceanography, marine sciences, diver navigation equipments, and many more.

Reporting directly to the North American Managing Director, you are responsible for supporting our existing customers and strengthening our growth in your area.

 

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • You are in charge of your own customer accounts and of the revenue in your area.

  • You coordinate your sales activity with the other departments (Operations, Technical support…).

  • You analyze the needs of customers and define the suitable solutions.

  • You prepare sales proposals and follow-up business opportunities until their conversion to purchase orders.

  • You plan and follow-up the demonstrations for the customers (with the help of the Support team).

  • You actively prospect for new markets/clients and participate in trade-shows in your region (with the Business Developers and the Marketing department).

  • You develop the company’s presence within the academic accounts (presentation, sponsorship…).

  • You have to travel within your area and to French headquarters (approximately 30-50% of your time).

Profil recherché

Profile:

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Hydrography, Geodesy or equivalent.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry, ideally in Hydrography or Survey.

Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

Business acumen and result oriented,  with good organizational skills.

Ability to manage priorities in a multi-tasking environment.

Ability to use standard office software tools (CRM, Excel, …).

Job Location: Santa Ana, CA (Remote possible)

Contract: Full-time
