We are looking for a motivated and talented Technical Writer to help improve, organize and extend the documentation of the open-source project’s developer documentation DevDocs

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Help PrestaShop become the best platform to create e-commerce solutions.

For that, as a member of the Core Tribe, and in close collaboration with the project’s maintainers (as well as hundreds of community contributors), you will help thousands of developers around the world understand, build, deploy and extend PrestaShop.

By taking leadership of the developer documentation, you will :

- Create accurate and engaging content for a wide audience including integrators, module & theme developers, system administrators and core contributors, from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, inside and outside the company;

- Collaborate with contributors to ensure all features and changes are documented;

- Identify areas of improvement in existing documentation;

- Establish and oversee editorial policies: tone of voice, writing style, content organization… (and document them!);

Since our documentation is a collaborative open-source project, as an active community member, you will also:

- Review content submitted by your colleagues and project contributors;

- Know how to give advice, criticize constructively... and handle criticism professionally;

- Participate in many discussions, be it on GitHub or public Slack.
