Role of the Operations Team

Operations at OVRSEA is the heart of our engine. Their role is to ensure the transportation of our customers’ goods around the world by air, sea, road or rail.

What does it mean to be an Operations Billing Officer at OVRSEA ?

At OVRSEA, the billing and closing of transport files is a complex subject that requires constant interaction with the Ops & Sales teams as well as with customers and all our transport partners.

Alongside Noëllie and Mehdi, you will support the Operations team on various tasks related to billing and claims management.

Through this position, you will have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with all the operational teams.

Here is the list of the missions that we propose to you (non-exhaustive list):

Manage customer invoicing (75%)

• Participation in the invoicing of transport files
• Helping to manage the contact with customers to explain the differences that may appear between the quotation and the billing

Management of claims and recourses (25%)

• Handling of claims against third parties
• Realization of appeals against third parties/suppliers (collection, analysis and transmission of information necessary for the processing of the files)
• Participation in the regular follow-up of the progress of the files and the goods in dispute until their completion

• You have good analytical skills and are proficient in Excel
• You will be able to demonstrate the rigor and patience necessary to carry out the recurring tasks essential to the operation of OVRSEA’s billing department
• You are attracted by the start-up ecosystem, the challenges and you wish to develop yourself in a stimulating and fast moving work environment
• You have a good knowledge of the transportation industry (nice to have)
• A first experience (even as an intern) in a freight forwarder is a plus
