We are looking for a Senior Alliance Manager to sit at the intersection of client relationships, project execution, and commercial development. This role is critical to ensure the successful delivery of complex scientific projects while driving account growth, new opportunities, and long-term partnerships.
You will act as the primary interface with clients, developing a deep understanding of their organizations, decision-making structures, and strategic priorities. You will translate client needs into clear project scopes, ensure smooth internal execution in collaboration with the PMO, and build trusted relationships that lead to repeat business and new contracts.
Client understanding & relationship management
Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
Develop a deep understanding of client organizations, decision-makers, influencers, and internal dynamics
Lead key client meetings and maintain strong, long-term relationships
Travel regularly for strategic client meetings, project reviews, and relationship building
Project follow-up & internal coordination
Translate client requests into structured project scopes, deliverables, and timelines
Coordinate project execution with the PMO, who manages team allocation and resource planning
Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies
Business development & account growth
Identify, qualify, and convert commercial opportunities within existing accounts by proactively expanding scope and engagement
Support proposal development, scoping exercises, and pricing discussions to ensure both competitiveness and profitability
6+ years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, Project Management, or similar roles
Proven experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects (data science, biology, computational biology, or related fields)
Strong client-facing presence with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Solid commercial mindset with the ability to identify, structure, and close opportunities
Willingness to travel regularly for key client interactions
Background in life sciences, biotech, pharma, or TechBio strongly preferred. An MD or PhD degree would be a strong plus.

Technical Case (30 minutes call) - A case study or problem-solving exercise to assess your strategic thinking and analytical abilities. If possible this can be done in person.
Founder Interview (60 min in our office): As final step of our recruitment process, you will meet the founders of Orakl Oncology in person at our office. This meeting is an opportunity for the founders to assess cultural fit and ensure alignment with our company values.
