We are looking for a Business Developer to accelerate our sales expansion in the power generation market for the DACH Market. The candidate report to the CEO and will be based either in France (ideally Paris) or in Germany (ideally Berlin)
Missions
The Business Developer will be responsible for the creation and follow-up of new customer accounts as well as conversion of existing opportunities to market capture according to the Metroscope business development strategy
Account management
Ability to listen and absorb the client concerns and terminology
Getting accustomed and mastering our product through a very in-depth training
New customer acquisition & prospection:
Building your own sales pipeline, partnerships and closed deals through prospection channels
Development of pitches for various stakeholders
Focusing on opening the market and expanding pipeline in the nuclear and fossil power generation segments
Regional market and capture planning
Partnerships
Build and develop partnerships to support sales activities
Represent Metroscope by driving business development with company partners
Operational responsibilities
Present at conferences and technical forms
Contribute to marketing content as needed to support prospection
Process and team life responsibilities
The business developer must have a strong interest for technology and the ability to understand our customer needs quickly, establishing credibility among our prospects and customers (power plant operators)
You have experience in B2B international Sales
You have a prior industrial culture and are committed to tackle the environmental crisis
3-5 years documented success in enterprise software sales or business technology products and services as an individual contributor.
Experience leading and achieving enterprise software or industrial sales objectives with different sales techniques
Fluent in German and English, another European language would be a strong asset.
Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Content to travel as necessary to support customer meeting.
