At Le Collectionist (LC), The Data team is composed of 3 Data Analysts (1 Lead and 1 IC) and 2 Data Engineers reporting to the CTPO, and is thus part of the Tech & Product team.

The goal of the Data team is to unlock and democratize the usage of data in other team’s everyday activity and decision making process.

The Data Analyst trainee is responsible for the cross team data reporting and business insights delivery performed through the different ad-hoc projects based on the end-user requests.

Your missions include data transformations (SQL) and meticulous quality assurance on a daily basis.

Your main interlocutors are business teams and product managers all over the company.

On the point where you are joining the team, we managed to create a solid base for data platform development and LC data culture.

In 2024, we are aiming to work on building a more Self-service oriented Data ecosystem for our users to be more independent, continue to develop long-lasting dynamic data solutions and why not, explore some Machine Learning use cases.

Key missions :

As a Data Analyst trainee, you will report directly to the Lead Data Analyst and :

● Offer essential in-time support for the internal teams :

• Use available certified data to create on-demand extracts

• Perform ad-hoc analysis as part of various data exploration projects

● Work closely with data engineers to follow the best practices, contribute to the data platform development and tech debt reduction

● Ensure the quality and accuracy of the end-user datasets you are providing

● Contribute to the LC data culture development and “data as a product” vision

Preferred background

• Bac+5 engineering or data (graduation internship)

Hard skills

• Good level of SQL (daily basis usage)

• Dataviz (first experience with any of popular tools as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase)

• Cross sources data transformation and analysis (be able to mix and match properly the data from different sources)

• Optional: first experience using any Cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Scaleway, OVH)

Soft skills

• Resourceful and quick learner, never blocked by some missing skills or knowledges
