Role Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to provide advanced thought-leadership and help drive a strategic vision across our top Agency clients in the realm of data and technology. The Global Data & Tech Lead will have a consultative role across clients to help set 1st, 2nd, 3rd party data strategies, drive and implement technology solutions across media planning, reporting, and optimizing.

The Global Data & Tech Lead will have a sophisticated understanding of both internal and external providers and tools in order to offer consultative advice, roadmaps and solutions.

Working directly with the General Manager and Global Client Leads, this role is responsible for driving our Data & Technology vision across clients, demonstrating best-in-class thought leadership and advancing WPP products and solutions.

Key accountabilities:

• Work with Agency Leadership to set strategic vision and roadmaps across top clients regarding data, technology, and analytics
• Partner with Client Leads to drive data strategy, technology solutions, and WPP growth opportunities across top clients
• Be seen as an expert and leader with top clients to help inform and consult on data and technology solutions (media planning, data-driving marketing strategies, media reporting, analytics, data automatization etc. )
• Leverage and understand the WPP network’s solutions and offerings in order to provide best-in-class service and strategies to clients
• Drive internal stakeholders and product leads to ensure that that our client needs are being met
• Inspire and lead, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation to deliver best-in-class data and technology solutions to clients
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies, evaluating their potential impact and opportunity, and make recommendations for adoption.
• Strong knowledge and expertise on European Privacy Regulations and their implications on data driven marketing solutions

Key experiences:

• Broad technical expertise that will inspire and encourage creative, collaborative problem solving.
• Demonstrated experience in managing senior level clients across media, data, and technology roles
• Able to navigate seamlessly between setting a strategy and executing/implementing.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiating skills.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility at all levels including the VP and C-level
• Ability to understand cultural nuances and adapts own style to fit. Respects differences in culture, approach and skillset
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data and technology management
