As a mechatronic engineer you will be part of our engineering team. You will work in all aspects of the development of our products, from design and testing right through to manufacture.

Some tasks mechatronics engineers undertake:

• design electronic cards (component selction, schematics, routing)
• debug electronic cards (use of osciloscope, workbench powersupplies)
• design 3D assemblies with mechanical parts and electronics
• manufacture electronic prototypes using our electronic manufacturing capabilities (pick and place, reflow oven)
• manufacture mechanical parts using our 3D printing tools (SLA, FDM)

Bonus:

• power electronics

  • mosfet selection and control
  • copper thickness and routing
  • thermal calculations

• RF emissions

  • measure RF leakage and correct them for CEM
  • antenna characterisation depending on the orientation in the product
• Knowledge of battery design
