As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, in the Core Squad composed of 5 Backend Software Engineers, under the management of Julien (Engineering Manager), your missions will be:

• Independently take charge of, maintain, and refine the LCA (Life-Cycle Assessment Engine), based on decisions made by our Product Team.

• Contribute to design, improve & maintain our core backend & API.

• Engage in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and architectural discussions to continually enhance code and product quality.

• Contribute to Fairly Made’s technical documentation, focusing on architecture-related topics within your squad.

• Ensure code quality through robust development practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer with at least 5 years’ experience.

This position is for you if :

• You’ve an expert on similar stacks (Node.js/Typescript, Nestjs, TypeORM, Postgres)

• You’re proficient with complex SQL queries

• You’ve already worked on the design of a fast-moving, high-traffic API

• You like teamwork and sharing your knowledge

Even better if :

• You’re passionate about tech and/or language agnostic

• You’ve already worked with Rust
