You will be involved in operational consulting missions around Data Analytics, data processing and modeling, and visual representation of data to address business issues.

You will be in charge of :

• Identifying the needs and issues of business departments,
• Collecting and processing data for analysis, including the creation of aggregated and complementary variables to raw data,
• Build algorithmic analysis tools and define relevant indicators to improve search and targeting results,
• Automate and industrialize the reprocessing of data,
• Create statistical models of behavior and extract new user uses, and improve or develop new predictive models to anticipate the evolution of data and trends related to the business,
• To represent the results in a visual restitution tool in an ergonomic and intuitive way,
• To return the analyses to the client, in particular by synthesizing usable results in order to assist in the decision making process for strategic issues of companies,
• To carry out a continuous technological watch on the innovations of the field.

Required profile

Bachelor's and Master's degree in computer science, and at least 5 years of successful experience in data with at least one year of experience as a Data Scientist or Statistician in a company or a research laboratory. You have a solid background in Data Science and Machine Learning (Deep Learning is a plus):

• You have a good knowledge of Data Analytics tools, including technical and scientific basics (classification models, regression, clustering, main non-linear algorithms, SQL language, …) but also methodological,
• You are familiar with the techniques inherent to data mining and statistical engineering applied to large volumes of data (Hadoop, Spark, Hive…),
• You have worked in environments close to the service industry (banking, marketing, finance, retail, supply etc.)
• You have a thorough knowledge of Excel and master the statistical languages of reference such as R, Python or SAS,
• Knowledge of a software or language dedicated to Data Visualization (Tableau, Qliksense or Qlickview, Microsoft Power BI…) as well as skills in automation (VBA for example) would be great.
• You are already in Canada with a valid work permit
