Job Description

As an aggregator, Energy Pool pilots and optimizes the electricity consumption of industrial and tertiary sector clients from its operations center. Depending on the needs of the electrical system and market opportunities, Energy Pool asks its clients to reduce their consumption (demand response) or conversely encourages them to consume at the right time (load shifting). 

We are looking for our Business Developer & Project Manager for our company.

The main missions are:

• Lead project execution across studies, development, or R&D initiatives, ensuring delivery meets KPIs for quality, budget, and deadlines.
• Drive flexibility deployment projects across the Middle East, with a primary focus on Saudi Arabia.
• Manage client portfolios, identifying and quantifying flexibility potential by industry segment.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in alignment with Energy Pool’s regional strategy, focusing on demand response, flexibility services, grid-supporting technologies, and decarbonization solutions.
• Promote Energy Pool's products and services to potential clients in the Kingdom, ranging from software enablement to comprehensive decarbonization processes.
• Contribute to revenue growth, generating and converting leads into signed contracts, supporting Energy Pool’s business development targets (e.g., X SAR/year new revenue contribution).
• Lead client engagements from first contact through proposal to delivery: consultations, opportunity qualification, technical proposal development, and pricing strategy.
• Prepare and present tailored business cases, technical offers, and investment justifications to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal teams (technical, operations, finance) to align resources and priorities for new project rollouts.
• Track and report on sales pipelines, project performance, client satisfaction, and revenue impact.
• Represent Energy Pool in regional events, workshops, and client meetings to promote our services and expand our footprint.

The indispensable:

• A Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy, or a related field, with credentials validated by the Saudi Ministry of Education or equivalent authority.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in business development within the energy sector—ideally with experience in demand-side management, distributed energy resources, energy services, and decarbonization processes.
• Proven ability to manage the full business development cycle: from lead generation to project delivery.
• Strong network or working knowledge of Saudi Arabia's energy ecosystem and institutional landscape.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Willingness to travel across the MENA region as required.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
