First things first: what is this role about?

As a Technical Writer at Diabolocom, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimising high-quality documentation that supports internal knowledge retention and external product understanding. You’ll work closely with the Knowledge Manager to ensure our information systems are structured, accessible and aligned with Diabolocom’s strategic goals.

Your missions:

  • Create and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation supporting product usage and internal knowledge.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and subject-matter experts to translate complex information into usable content.
  • Help structure and scale the documentation ecosystem (standards, templates, navigation) alongside the Knowledge Manager.
  • Maintain documentation quality, consistency, and lifecycle management.
  • Continuously improve content based on feedback, analytics, and evolving user needs.
  • Qualifications:

  • 2 to 3 years of technical writing or documentation experience in a technology, SaaS or customer-service environment (ideally contact center as a service).
  • Strong writing and editing skills in both French and English (clear, concise, structured).
  • Ability to work with SMEs to extract technical information and translate into user-friendly documentation.
  • Familiarity with documentation and content management tools.
  • Understanding of information architecture, taxonomy and metadata concepts.
  • Collaborative mindset, ability to work across teams and manage multiple documentation streams.
  • Nice to have:

  • Experience with visual tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Figma...) for flowcharts, UI-screenshots, process diagrams.
  • Understanding of search-engine optimisation for knowledge bases, or documentation analytics.
