The EMEA (Europe Middle-East & Africa) and APAC (Asia Pacific) departments combine the commercial activities of D-EDGE in their respective regions. Each country is under the direction of a Country Manager. The Sales teams prospect new customers.
You will be joining the Italy Sales teams, composed of 3 people and will be reporting to Alberto Bisetto, Senior Director of Business Development Sales IT, MEA.
💻 YOUR SCOPE:
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for new Client Acquisition - Hotels within an assigned territory. He/She is responsible for planning and prioritizing business development activities to achieve company goals and monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, utilizing and developing innovative strategies to maximize results.
🎯 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Master his/her market (connections / groups / activities / key people / market makers)
Proactively research market triggers, identify opportunities and initiate connections with senior level contacts and decision makers
Develop/own and maintain a monthly sales plan to identify the sales activities which will drive new opportunities
Responsible for being a link between internal teams and ensuring that the clients have a successful sales experience
Educate the market and position our value proposition
Act as a solution architect to help large clients understand and integrate our solutions
Drive large solution sales by creating the right pricing strategies and establishing optimal targeting approaches
Own the RFP process for his/her region
Close deals with the team in a timely manner
Maintain accurate records of business development activities on Salesforce CRM system
Meet / exceed all sales and growth goals for the region
Work with local industry groups, travel and hotel associations to promote D-EDGE’s products and brand
Participate in Trade Fairs and sales seminars
Develop a strong technical baseline through training

Experience, tools and specialist knowledge
Deep understanding of D-EDGE portfolio of products
Understanding of all hotel distribution channels
In-depth knowledge of the GDS, Consortia and TMCs is a plus
SaaS experience, ideally in the hotel/hospitality technology space is a plus
Bilingual fluency in English and Italian. Any other language is a plus
Efficiency in Excel, MS Word, Salesforce CRM
