Mission

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with a strong experience in UI Design and Visual design as well as UX Design, with the ability to partner with a PM, a PMM and the Engineering team on Product Discovery.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for all aspects of user experience across all our applications: customer portal, backoffice and APIs. Our apps are used daily by cybersecurity analysts from our clients all over the world. They are relying on our product to analyze thousands of potential security incidents. Design is key to help them assess the severity of a threat and save time when managing thousands of alerts every day. We are pivoting our positioning to shift from a managed-service solution to a SaaS solution with autonomous usage of our data from our customers.

You’ll join the Product Team :

• Currently 2 Product Designers and 6 Product Managers

• Each Product Designer will contribute to an axis of the Product Strategy 

• Our Design stack : Figma, Figjam, ProductBoard, Amplitude, Confluence

Your Tasks

Contribute to identify the opportunities
As a Product Designer, your focus will be to be the voice of our users, during the whole process. You are deeply oriented around actual customers and the value their product brings to those customers.

• Partner with a Product Manager, a PMM and the engineering team for one of our teams, lead by a product goal. 

• Conduct product discovery & user research to guide product & design decisions by factual user feedback, and increase our user knowledge

• Collect, review, analyze and organize regularly the user feedback for a product area

• Lead interviews to understand personae, identify specify friction points, pains or needs to identify product opportunities

Test, iterate and validate hypotheses
As a Product Designer, you play a key role to increase the confidence on the product hypotheses. 

• Facilitate ideation workshops with cybersecurity experts, product & engineering teams

• Produce prototypes to explore and test hypotheses and iterate on them. 

• Use quantitative and qualitative techniques to increase the level of confidence in the ideas we propose building.

• Measure the success of the product hypotheses

Design of the solution
As a Product Designer, you design the best solution for our users with a strong partnership with the engineering team

• Define flows, information architecture and meaningful user interface

• Understand and apply accessibility best practices

• Deliver UI design with an attention to component consistency and design the edge cases

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Design System to ensure design consistency across the product.

• Create and update UI style guides, design patterns, and component libraries to facilitate efficient design and development.

• Collaborate with developers during the whole product lifecycle (technical issues, anticipation, handoff, iteration)

• 5 to 7 years of experience building and shipping world-class products across various platforms

• Strong UI skills mixed with UX Design knowledge and experience

• Collaborative approach and belief that the best products are built through a partnership with Product, Design, and Engineering

• Great communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate your design decisions and how they relate to the problem you’re solving

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Experience applying user research methodologies and product data/analytics to inform design decision

• Experience with SaaS, B2B or other complex technical systems (APIs, Machine learning, heavy data products)

• Fluent both in english and french
