As the first point of contact, you will represent Contexte to our prospects. Your objective? Manage and qualify inbound leads. If you’re passionate about sales and the media industry, join Contexte and play a key role in our commercial development!

Responsibilities

🔥 Managing and Qualifying Inbound Leads

  • Receive, analyze, and process leads from various channels (website, events, email, etc.).

  • Conduct professional exchanges (by email, telephone or videoconference) in order to establish a high-quality initial contact with prospects.

  • Conduct constructive conversations to understand prospects’ needs and challenges.

  • Qualify leads based on specific criteria and determine their level of interest.

  • Enter the information collected in the CRM accurately.

🗺️ Mapping and Prospecting potential new clients

  • In partnership with Account Executives, identify target accounts and key decision-makers (ICP, personas).

  • Build and maintain qualified prospect lists.

  • Enrich prospect data using available tools (CRM, databases, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

  • Run outbound prospecting campaigns (cold calling, email, LinkedIn).

  • Tailor messaging based on prospect profiles and business challenges.

  • Conduct constructive conversations to understand prospects’ needs and challenges.

  • Keep the CRM up to date and accurate. Track and report on KPIs (calls, contact rate, conversion rate, meetings booked)

🚀 Creating Business Opportunities

  • Convert qualified leads into engaged prospects by scheduling meetings for our Account Executives (AEs).

  • Ensure a smooth and effective transition of qualified leads to the EU Sales team.

  • Work in synergy with Account Executives to tailor the sales pitch to each prospect.

  • Track the progress of qualified leads in the sales cycle and follow up if necessary.

  • Develop a cold prospecting strategy in partnership with Account Executives with the aim of generating qualified appointments for Account Executives. To carry out this mission, the SDR will use all available means of communication (LinkedIn, cold calls, data enrichment tools, etc.) and pre-qualify potential sales opportunities.

⚙️ Database enrichment and monitorings

  • Update and maintain data quality in the CRM.

  • Enrich contact and account files with strategic information (organisation, decision-makers, news, etc.).

  • Challenge and refine listings received from the Growth team to maximize prospect relevance.

  • Share insights and trends to refine our acquisition and engagement strategy.

  • Participate in optimising lead nurturing processes with the marketing team.

  • Maintain rigorous and detailed tracking of your activity via our CRM.

📊 Activity monitoring and reporting

  • Monitor and analyse performance indicators (number of leads processed, conversion rate, number of appointments secured, etc.).

  • Provide regular reports to the Sales Department.

  • Participate in team meetings and make recommendations based on field experience.

What It’s Like to Work at Contexte

  • Apply the principle of subsidiarity, which emphasizes personal expertise and can be summarized as: the one who does, decides. This principle is at the heart of our collective culture, based on three strong values: freedom, governed by a collectively built framework; trust; and a combination of high standards and kindness.

  • Contribute to a company project marked by an ambitious societal commitment: producing and selling independent political information that empowers all actors of democracy, regardless of size, expertise, or orientation, to build common ground conducive to democratic dialogue.

  • Participate in building and developing a model of independence—capitalistic, economic, and editorial.

    • Ensure that power (i.e., the majority of the company’s capital) belongs to individuals or organizations whose primary interest lies within Contexte.

    • Aim for profitability year after year, a sine qua non condition for independence.

    • Create conditions for journalists to practice their profession, within the editorial line, independently of external (economic and political) and internal (commercial interests of the company, shareholders’ interests) powers.
