Your Mission

We are looking for a Workday functional expert to join the People Ops team, to be part of the Workday implementation project team, and later become the functional expert leading the continuous improvement of the solution. Workday modules include Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, Absence Management (Performance and Learning will come in a second step).

Your Responsibilities 

During the build phase

- Team with internal stakeholders (People, Business, Finance, and IT teams) and external stakeholders (Integration partners, Workday) to define business requirements and design solutions to meet their needs

- Provide functional subject matter expertise on the Workday HCM solution (CHCM, CCTPP, PTO, LRN)

- Provide Workday subject matter functional expertise for day to day support and development including business process configuration, data upload (EIB), testing, and other troubleshooting support

- Support process redesign

- Support technical and test teams, internally and externally, to implement functionality

During run phase

- Provide Workday product expertise in the areas of Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, Absence Management, Benefits, Talent Optimisation, Learning, Organisation design, Reporting, and Analytics

- Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and partner with internal stakeholders to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday functionality

- Contribute to functional projects and configuration activities for enhancements and new functionality in the HCM area

- Assess, manage, resolve and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues

- Works closely with third-party vendors for AMS support, and for testing support (Jira, Trello)

- Assist with bi-annual releases, including analysis of impacts of new functionality and cross-functional analysis

Your Qualifications

- 3-5 year’s hands-on Workday functional experience

- Understanding of Workday implementation methodology

- Knowledge of French HR processes is a strong plus

- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytic skills with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

- Knowledge of some or all Workday functionality like Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Integrations, Security, Data Conversion, Talent Optimization, and Learning

- You have excellent communication skills, you’re humble, and you enjoy sharing & learning from others

- You embrace change, are able to take a step back, prioritize, and focus on added-value tasks

- You have a results-driven and impact-oriented mindset

- Fluency in English
