Your Mission:
We are looking for a Strategy & Business Analyst to join the team working on our Western Europe activities, which include long-distance carpooling, short-distance carpooling, buses - and soon train!
The team’s mission is to guide strategic decision-making and contribute to scaling our activities in Europe. Among other things, we achieve this mission through analyzing data, building dashboards, creating reporting and producing budgets and forecasts.
Within the team, you’ll work closely with the Strategy Lead (Candice François) and other Strategy & Business Analysts. Through your projects, you will also be collaborating with Business Line Managers, Product Managers and Marketing Managers.
Alongside your team, you’ll join a well-rounded and experienced Strategy team, and will belong to the Analytics Chapter, an internal community of 25+ analysts who meet regularly to share, learn and innovate on data analytics.
Your Responsibilities:
Build a strong understanding of the levers impacting our performance (growth dynamics, competition, network & pricing structure) and recommend actions to increase our impactProvide actionable insights and reports to BlaBlaCar’s executives to support their strategic decision-makingEvaluate the performance of current business operations and recommend strategies and tactics to achieve business goalsBuild positive and trustful relationship while working with management to identify business needs, challenges and opportunitiesAnalyze and deliver reports for stakeholders with Tableau softwareYour Qualifications:
6 months to 1 year experience in entrepreneurship, consulting, business intelligence, or other relevant analytical position (excluding internships)Excellent communication skills: experience in synthesizing and communicating data clearlyStrong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to think strategically and “outside the box”Strong attention to details and the ability to step back to see the bigger pictureHigh level of autonomy and proactivityProficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau) and SQL would be a plusFluent in English and in FrenchYou identify with the BlaBlaCar mindset: a structured and humble doer with the ability to prioritize, who thrives on collaboration and teamwork.What we have to offer
