Basware, the global leader in AP Automation, is seeking an experienced services sales professional to join our dynamic team as a Senior Services Advisor and be an important part of Basware’s growth story.

As a trusted advisor in our Professional Services team, you’ll know how to successfully implement, roll out and optimize solutions/technologies like Basware’s. You’ll be a key driver of customer success and a valuable sales partner to our many important stakeholders, including Sales and Value Consulting teams, Customer Success, and our rapidly growing implementation partners.

Being the ideal candidate, you’ll love selling value and using relevant experience to deliver compelling proposals that establish clear visions for success backed by well-constructed solution/service delivery plans to realize value. You’ll also find it easy to convert your winning proposals into tangible deliverables, from value-based pricing offers and margin calculations, to high-level implementation plans and Statement of Work agreements (SOWs).

This is an exciting role focused on value realization through scoping and selling professional services, while advising on successful strategies to implement, expand or optimize Basware solutions, and working with some of the world’s leading system integrator and advisory firms to rapidly – and successfully – deploy our solutions through blended service/delivery offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of assigned services opportunities, from initial discovery and qualification through to closure and handover to our delivery teams.

  • Work closely with deal teams to devise winning strategies based on a deep understanding of the customer and our capabilities to deliver them value.

  • Create realistic but bold implementation/delivery/project plans that both reflect the unique situation of each deal and our standard offerings.

  • Build, present, and refine compelling value-based services proposals, with or without an implementation partner. Produce related deliverables (e.g. RFP responses, presentations and proposals, SOWs).

  • Develop business relationships internally and externally to drive mutually beneficial outcomes (e.g., future expansions/pipeline, increased deal productivity).

  • Engage in continuous learning to maintain deep knowledge of Basware solutions and industry trends.

  • Practice great opportunity management and deal execution to drive accurate forecasting and healthy pipeline development.

  • Contribute proactively to knowledge management through the creation/improvement of tools and templates.

Preferované skúsenosti

Desired Experience:

  • Proven track record of selling implementation services within the technology sector (experience in the AP and Invoice Automation or adjacent spaces, such as e-invoicing, compliance, and procure to pay, is desired).

  • Experience with project management, with proven understanding of requirements gathering, scope definition, and risk management.

  • Prior experience selling with/through global system integrators and advisory also considered advantageous.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging effectively across all levels of the organization and with clients and partners.

  • Innovative thinking in service delivery and problem-solving.

  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Strategic and commercial mindset.

  • English is a requirement for the role with French, Spanish or German also desired.
